The Inability to Let go

By an impossible desire I had at some point convinced myself that there was a reasonable amount of the population that thought about things before they made choices. I cannot remove the statistical implications of exit polling from the November presidential election. The national exit polls show that America has not overcome race. It is a universal fact. I do not want to argue the points, you can see it for yourself. Whether you look at the African American % of around 96%for Barrack, or the White above 25 age range percent that looms between 40%-42%. Perhaps you thing that the White vote is reasonable??!!. Then take into account that the largest victory margin ever in American History was 26.2 %(Warren G. Harding) This would lend to a 20 point margin victory for McCain if only these votes were counted. This Population accounts for 63% of Americans! Do I revert to expletives?
The issue I have is that Barrack Obama won by the largest margin in history for a non-incumbent president. Yet, the majority white population doesn't favor him. We can argue Politics all day, but historically it is almost implausible that a Republican candidate would win with George Bushes (popularity and ongoing war).

I know things take time to change. I am just frustrated that we as a people obviously do not make intelligent decisions. Back to the herd i go........
